My favorite book as a child is called Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. This book is about a mother's unconditional love for her son. No matter what kind of trouble the son got into or what type of kid he was the mother loved him. The mother would quietly sneak into her son's bedroom when she was sure that he was asleep and sing to him, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as i'm living my baby you'll be." Even when the son grew older she still sang this song to him and when she was too old to sing it to him he sang it to her and eventually he sang the song to his own child.
This book is one of my favorites because my mom used to always read this book to me when I was growing up. My mom is the greatest person I know and I hope that one day I will be able to be there for her like she was always there for me. My mom has given me this book as a gift and also given to my siblings and my nephew. I will read this book to my children in the future. I also like this book because the pictures really show how children can be and how fast they grow. I love the cover picture the best because there are many times when children can make that big of a disaster but it will not change a mother's love. I also think the pictures are great because without words you could still get the main idea of the story.
